Always a great pleasure and creative joy to be the photographer for Med Theatre Dartmoor. We went up to Bellever on Dartmoor to photograph some pre-production shots for their upcoming production. The play is a promenade play about the history of Central Dartmoor, beginning with the Bronze Age. The pre-shoot was focusing on a scene about Saxon Dartmoor, when so-called ‘butter-girls’ pastured their cattle for dairying on Dartmoor’s summer grass – although there was always a threat from the Vikings. Here are some of my favourites.
